A little context before we meet

Do you ever feel like there are lots of different voices or parts inside your head—some that criticize, others that protect, and maybe a few that just want to be heard? Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy helps you understand these inner parts and how they affect your feelings and behaviors.

Rather than trying to push these parts away, IFS encourages you to connect with your core “Self,” a calm and compassionate inner leader who can help heal and harmonize these different voices. This approach helps you develop greater self-awareness, acceptance, and emotional balance.

Research supports IFS as an effective treatment for trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. Many people find it transformative because it recognizes the complexity inside each person and fosters lasting healing by treating the whole inner system, not just isolated symptoms.

Our IFS approach focuses on creating a safe space for you to explore and integrate these different parts, fostering self-compassion and understanding. We work with you to develop strategies for managing internal conflicts and building a more harmonious inner environment.

  • Evidence-informed care matched to your goals — not a one-size-fits-all script.
  • Licensed counselors across Utah, with secure telehealth when that fits your life.
  • We listen first, then build a plan together — paced, confidential, and human.

Can therapy help with ifs?

IFS therapy is one approach our counselors may use when it fits your goals. Your first sessions focus on understanding what you need; together you’ll decide whether this modality is a good match.

Do you offer telehealth?

Yes. We offer secure video sessions across Utah and Oregon, plus in-person appointments at our offices. Many clients mix both depending on the week.

How do I get started?

Complete a short intake form, call, or text us. We review your needs and match you with a counselor. During business hours someone answers the phone most of the time.
